5. Choose a sub-domain name. For example, my sub-domain name could be mjacobsportfolio. Again, keep it professional and resume acceptable.
6. You are ready to begin developing your portfolio.
Building the Portfolio
1. Start by choosing a theme (this can be changed later). Choose a design that fits your personality as well as holds a certain amount of professionalism.
2. Before you begin adding pages, visit my sample site and note which pages you need to add for your corresponding course. Each course has 5-6 required pages. Add all your page tabs before you begin anything else.
Sample site: http://srmaryannjacobs.weebly.com
3. Use the options on the left side of your site to add different elements. When you add pages, there are three options. I suggest you use the one with the smaller picture and place to write. It is the third option.
4. Regularly click “Publish” in the top right corner. This will save your new input information as well as update your website for viewing.
